This new building for the Hendon Corps of The Salvation Army provides space for worship and community use, including shared floor space with the Barnet Dementia Hub at first floor.
At ground floor the building houses a light and spacious multi-purpose hall, while a smaller hall is used for community-focused sessions such as toddler groups and exercise classes.
The drop-in coffee at the ground floor offers a welcoming atmosphere and serves as a waiting area for visitors; externally, the design successfully addresses the low-scale residential context of the area.
